The scheme forms part of the wider Wrexham Gateway project, which includes the new Kop stand at the STōK Racecourse and a transport hub.
Under the hybrid planning application, a former Jewson builders’ merchant warehouse would be converted into a Wrexham Lager brewery, while the Cambrian Sheds would be repurposed into a taproom and museum celebrating the city’s brewing heritage.
Outline consent is also being sought for a five-storey office block, a public plaza outside the station entrance, and a pedestrian footbridge linking the north end of the site.
Plans also include new bus stops, EV charging points, cycle storage, and improved access from Mold Road for pedestrians and cyclists.
The redevelopment will also involve demolition of the former Girl Guides and Wrexham District Scouts buildings to make way for new facilities.
